Why do we build these?
Consulting is about solving other people's problems. But we believe the best advisors should also build things themselves — not just write reports, but turn ideas into something that runs. MNT Lab is where we do that. Every project here is our attempt to use AI to fix a real pain point. Some are for global users. Some are built specifically for Hong Kong.
All MNT Lab projects are powered by large language models at their core. We don't use AI as a buzzword. We use it to do real work — generating content, analysing data, powering conversations, personalising experiences. In every project, AI plays a specific, tangible role.

We're building a Cantonese conversation practice tool designed specifically for newcomers to Hong Kong, built around real local scenarios: ordering at a cha chaan teng, shopping at the wet market, taking the MTR, seeing a doctor. Every dialogue is loaded with authentic Hong Kong vocabulary and expressions — the local words that make the difference between sounding foreign and fitting in.
